Optoma Joins Vectis Opus Patent Pool

LONDON and TAIPEI (September 27, 2024) – Vectis IP Ltd. (“Vectis”) and Optoma Corporation (“Optoma”) today announced that Optoma has joined the Opus Patent Pool as a Licensee. Optoma, a world leader in projector technology, now joins other leading American, European and Asian Licensees from the wide array of verticals that depend on the Opus audio codec for its high performance.

The Opus Patent Pool offers access to a large portion of the essential patents covering Opus technology and the founding Licensors, Dolby and Fraunhofer, are expected to be joined by an additional Licensor soon, bringing further value to the pool and its Licensee base.
